Remigiusz Stanek, Ph.D., LL.M. Partner | Advocate PL
Remigiusz Stanek is an advocate (adwokat) admitted to the Warsaw Bar Association and the firm’s managing partner. He holds a PhD in Law and an LL.M. degree from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder).
He gained professional experience through many years of work at DZ Bank Polska, as well as by serving as a Managing Associate at Deloitte Legal and a Senior Associate at the Krawczyk i Wspólnicy law firm.
Remigiusz is a regular expert for the Business Centre Club (BCC) regarding tax proceedings. Previously, he lectured on European banking law at Lazarski University and was a member of Polish Bank Association working groups dealing with FATCA and EMIR regulations.
He specializes in tax procedural law, defense in white-collar criminal cases (with a particular focus on fiscal penal cases), administrative proceedings, contract law, and legislative advisory.
He represents clients before tax authorities, provincial administrative courts, and the Supreme Administrative Court in tax and administrative law matters. He also provides legal advice to clients from German-speaking markets.
Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous complex regulatory projects for the financial sector, as well as restructuring and investment projects and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Furthermore, he has frequently prepared legal opinions on legislation and represented the BCC in parliament during the proceedings of Sejm and Senate committees.
Remigiusz has worked with clients from the banking, financial, automotive, and recycling sectors.
